Allergy Disclaimer

Please be aware that all ingredients are processed on the same equipment (eggs, peanut butter, wheat flour, coconut flour).  Although we have strict processes in place to prevent cross-contact there is still a slight risk of the presence of any allergen.

Design Variations

Although we make every attempt to provide an exact design and to match colors, custom cakes are a work of art. It may not be possible to match an exact shade of a color, but we will come as close as possible. The final product may be subject to slight variations.  Also be aware the exposure to light can cause colors to change. We do not offer discounts or refunds if the exact shade of a color is not achieved or if a variation occurs due to lighting.

Care and Handling

Cakes should be stored in refrigerator to prevent spoilage for up to 5 days from date of receipt or frozen for up to 3 months and can be thawed the night before event. We recommend treats with be stored in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

  • Once order is received, please allow box to sit without opening for 2 hrs to acclimate to the temperature change before opening and removing products.

  • Cakes are not meant to be served to pet in 1 sitting. Remember these are treats. 3" cake will serve 2-4. 4" Cake will serve 6-8 pups.

Return, Refund Policy

Butters Barkery & Pawtisserie does not provide/offer returns, refunds, credits or exchanges on any products. We want you to be happy with your purchase. However, due to the nature of our products things can happen. On day of receipt of your shipment inspect your order to ensure it arrived safely. In the event your item arrived damaged please send pictures of the damaged item along with the packaging and box it arrived in the day of arrival.
 

  • Failure to do so will result in not receiving a refund. If damage was not as a result of delivery service, we will work you to make it right, via refund, etc.

 

  • If damage to product was due to purchaser failing to follow storage instructions, we will not provide a refund. We are not responsible for damage during shipment this is handled through the delivery service which is USPS or UPS

Photographs and Marketing

We reserve the right to use any photographs sent and/or shared with us that include one of our products for display or promotion without compensation to you. However, if requested we will credit you on the photo.

Governing Law and Waiver of Jury Trial

 This Agreement shall be subject to and governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, irrespective of the choice of law rules in the state of execution of the Agreement.  The parties hereto acknowledge and agree that, any legal action brought pursuant to this Agreement shall only be of proper venue exclusively within the courts of the State of Illinois. Any litigation relating to this Agreement, brought by Client shall be commenced and maintained only in a federal or Illinois state court located nearest to Butters Barkery & Pawtisserie business location; The Client consents to personal jurisdiction and venue in any such court. EACH PARTY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HEREBY IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ALL RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY AS TO ANY ISSUE RELATING HERETO IN ANY ACTION, PROCEEDING OR COUNTERCLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR ANY OTHER MATTERS INVOLVING THE PARTIES HERETO. If Butters Barkery & Pawtisserie is the prevailing party, it shall be entitled to recover from the Client the reasonable costs and expenses incurred in connection with any mediation, suit or other action brought pursuant to this Agreement, including, without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees.

Resolution of Disputes.

All claims, disputes, and other matters in question arising out of or relating to this Agreement, or the breach of this Agreement (in any event, a “Dispute”) shall first be submitted to non-binding mediation in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures of the American Arbitration Association. Unless agreed upon by the parties, the mediator shall be selected by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Illinois State Bar Association. The mediator may offer such guidance as the mediator deems appropriate to facilitate the resolution of the Dispute.
